Football boot fit & sizing database
Every boot we model, with an easy-to-understand breakdown of its fit, sizing, and shape. Pick one to see how it runs, or build your foot profile to see which suit you.
191 boots across 23 brands.
Find boots by how they fit
Grouped from the same fit data on every boot page — width, toe box, midfoot volume, upper stretch, and sizing.
Best football boots for wide feet
Boots with an accommodating or wide forefoot, which give the ball of the foot room instead of tapering to a point. These suit players who feel pressure across the front or pinching at the little toe.
Best football boots for narrow feet
Boots cut narrow through the forefoot, so a slim foot is held rather than sliding around. Most modern speed boots sit here.

Football boots for a high instep or high-volume midfoot
Boots with a looser or moderate midfoot wrap, or a stretchy upper that gives across the instep. A high instep is squeezed by locked-down, shape-holding uppers.
Football boots with a roomy toe box
Boots with a high, roomy toe box, giving height over the toes. These suit high toe volume, clawed toes, or anyone who dislikes pressure on the toenails.
Football boots that stretch and mould to your foot
Boots rated 4–5 for upper stretch — typically premium leather or adaptive knit. They relax over the first few sessions, so early tightness eases into a personalised fit.
Which football boots fit true to size?
Boots that fit their label length with no adjustment needed — take your usual size. Anything that runs long or short is flagged on its own page.
Which football boots run big, and should you size down?
Boots that fit longer than their label, so most players should size down. How far depends on the model: some run a quarter size long, which only matters if you fall between sizes, while others run a full half size.
Which football boots run small, and should you size up?
Boots that fit shorter than their label, so most players should size up. These are the models where taking your usual size leaves your toes at the end of the boot.
Football boots for heel slip
Boots that pair a deep, secure heel counter with a snug or locked midfoot wrap. Heel slip is rarely fixed by the heel alone — it is the midfoot holding the foot back that stops the lift.
